The project will establish partnerships with one or more universities to work with young members aged 18-24 years to co-design new messaging for an awareness raising and call to action campaign that will improve awareness about, and understanding of, the attitudes behaviours and social conditions that drive violence against women and practical steps to take to challenge the drivers of violence against women. The priority for this project will be to build strong relationships with universities who demonstrate knowledge of and commitment to the primary prevention of violence against women. Best outcomes will be gained by working with universities that see value in the project for the university, its students and the community as a whole. The project will build upon the ‘Challenging the Drivers of Violence Against Women’ project funded through the Primary Prevention Grants Program 2022/2023 to deliver education sessions to the co-design groups, provide campaigns to the Yourtookit.com marketing across digital platforms, and monitor outcomes and website analytics.
