The Dijun Way (DW) YoungN Deadly’ project will build upon the existing program funded through the Primary Prevention Grants Program 2022/23, to directly deliver education to young males and females, 12-18 years old, who have entered, or are about to enter, their first intimate partner relationships via workshops delivered primarily through schools in the Kimberley region and also social media and radio messaging to the wider Kimberley community. The project targets the attitudes, social norms, behaviours, and practices that drive intimate partner violence in Aboriginal communities, in a manner that enables social and structural change, with a view to creating lasting results over time.
