Foundations of Primary Prevention of Men’s Violence Against Women – West Perth
2 x Half-Day Workshops
Men’s violence against women is a serious, widespread, and growing problem in Western Australia. However, there are simple steps we can ALL take to prevent it.
Preventing Violence Together (PVT) invites you to learn how you can play your part in ending men’s violence against women by attending our upcoming Foundations of Primary Prevention of Men’s Violence Against Women workshop.
This training is based on Western Australia’s framework for primary prevention of men’s violence against women: Foundations for Change. It includes a range of interactive activities and resources.
Over two half days, Foundations of Primary Prevention of Men’s Violence Against Women will provide participants with an introduction to:
- a primary prevention approach to addressing the underlying drivers of violence against women
- the four gendered drivers of violence against women
- other factors that impact the prevalence and severity of violence against women
- essential actions to challenge drivers of violence against women
- managing resistance and backlash
