The Organisation will extend the MEYGE project previously funded through the Primary Prevention Grants Program 2022/23, to continue to collaborate with the early years sector to provide foundational learnings to children around gender equality and to work with care givers and education providers to ensure that appropriate modelling of equal roles, attitudes and relationships takes place through a whole setting approach achieved through community education workshops for service providers, parents and carers. MEYGE identifies the critical role that parents of young children and early years’ service providers have in helping to drive the generational cultural change required to see an end to violence against women and children.
