This project will build upon the previous ‘Feeling Safe in WA’ primary prevention and early intervention program funded by the WA Police as a basis to develop a suite of primary prevention programs, tailor made to suit ethnic communities. The project will involve development of education packages to be delivered to community members, and employees of organisations who work with ethnic clients. Educational packages will be offered to both women and men with separate sessions as appropriate to meet cultural requirements. All ethnic communities will be targeted, including Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) communities and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) people. The proposed education packages are aimed at addressing the gendered drivers of violence against women
