The program is an initiative which engages with small/medium workplaces and community organisations (SMEs) across Western Australia in developing and implementing workplace and organisational approaches to support the prevention of violence against women (VAW). The primary intends to build on the existing pilot program funded throught the FDV Primary Prevention Grants Program 2022/2023 and will foster the momentum and demand for training and capacity building from government, community services and corporate organisations. The extended program will engage with 40 SMEs, deliver 250 workshops, and reach approximately 3000 individuals over the two-year duration. The Organsiation will respond to demand by actively seeking partnerships with organisations across a diversity of industries, including workplaces that emply and/or support male dominated workplaces, young people, LGBTQIA+ community, and CaLD communities. The program extends its support to workplaces and community organisations as they develop or review policies, procedures, and initiatives. The program approach has been adapted to new and existing businesses for ease of access for leadership involvement to ensure the organisational benefits of prioritisation for support.
